To create the second generation of its bestselling M6 PRO musicians’ in-ear monitors, MEE audio listened to its fan base: artists, reviewers and consumers. As a result, M6 Pro 2nd generation offers a series of upgrades, while keeping close to the high-performance perks that made its first edition a huge hit with musicians and music lovers around the world.
The 2nd generation offers enhanced sound quality, durability and ergonomics, all-new cables for improved longevity with rough handling, and a revised driver tuning with more sculpted response above 2 kHz for an even more accurate midrange and smoother, more natural treble. And it introduces MEE Audio’s first-ever optional personalization, with earpieces uniquely designed to accommodate custom-engraved faceplates. Customers can upload their logo, name, or other artwork to appear on the system’s monitors, or choose from several pre-set designs.
Meanwhile, the M6 Pro retains its predecessor’s popular features, including detachable cables with a spare headset cable – and sweat resistance and noise-isolating Comply™ memory foam eartips.
“We utilize Comply tips across all of our audiophile and pro audio products to improve the seal, fit and audio quality,” said Mike Jones, marketing director for MEE Audio. “On top of the critically acclaimed performance and quality, Comply’s name recognition, both in the U.S. and overseas, has helped us open new channels, get more attention from media, and improve the user experience.”
The M6 PRO 2nd generation was unveiled at the NAMM show and is scheduled for release in the second quarter of this year at a retail price of $49.99.
